| Junior Levels of PlayTenTen Program: (4 to 6 years) Teaches the fundamentals of tennis in an entertaining way. Makes use of child friendly equipment, aids and props. Beginner 1: (6.5 to 10 years) Introduces the basic strokes and fundamentals, sportsmanship, social development, coordination and fitness. Beginner 2: (10 years +) For players who have grasped the basics and are beginning to rally from the baseline with a focus of building the capacity to rally. Emphasis on personal and social development, sportsmanship, fitness and rules. Intermediate: (8 years+) Players are capable of rallying from the baseline. Focus is on refining skills, improving the serve and general consistency. Intermediate/Advanced: (10 yrs +) Players can rally and serve consistently. Focus is on corrective full court singles and doubles. Recreation or competitive. Advanced: (12 years +) Focus is on development of advanced strokes, execution of game strategy, and fitness. Encouraged to play competitively. |
